Homeless to Harvard
I was very moved by the film, even though it was very sad it was a very big eye opener. It showed how far you can get if you really pushed yourself. My favorite part of the movie was when she was late for the test to get into that school and she was determined to get in and she wasn't going to take no for an answer. Honestly, I think I would be that resilient only because in that position you don't really have a choice you have to work that hard, you have to want it. Otherwise the alternative it to basically end up like her parents and to her that was not an option.

I was also moved by this film. I also agree with you that if you push yourself you can achieve any goal you want in life.
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of people would've just accepted the fact that they're homeless and just die. She didn't tho and it was really inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI agree, that scene showed how she was starting to become more determined every day.
ReplyDeleteI agree that she pushed herself and was determined to not end up like her parents and believed that she could do anything that she set her mind to.
ReplyDeletea lot of people chose that because that part of the movie really touched and gained peoples attention
